During its meeting in Phoenix on Friday, the Council voted unanimously to advance the proposed changes to Standard 306, which would allow J.D. programs to offer 50% or fewer credits—versus the current one-third credits—via distance education without having to seek Council acquiescence under the U.S. Department of Education rules.
