Pfizer recently filed seven lawsuits in federal court seeking to enjoin multiple multinational pharmaceutical companies from selling a generic version of its medication, Nurtec, which is used to prevent and treat migraines.        

To secure a conviction, prosecutors must prove that Trump caused his company’s business records to be falsified to conceal another crime specifically the use of unlawful means to influence the 2016 presidential election.        

The judge ordered unredacted versions of his opinion go to the chief disciplinary counsel for the New York and California state bars, “in light of the indefensible conduct” of the attorneys involved in the Samsung patent case.        

“We cannot let groundless claims derail our prompt action against this climate crisis,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta said.        

The court concluded that while the district court didn’t err in dismissing the lawsuit over plaintiffs’ nonappearance, as they believed they were to appear by telephone, the dismissal was too drastic given the circumstances.        

“The (prejudgment remedy) is what triggered the conversation for us to be able to get the defendant to pay something above and beyond the $1 million policy, because all other avenues were leading back to the $1 million policy itself,” plaintiffs counsel Christopher Cramer said.        

In addition to legal tech startups, this year’s Fuse cohort includes many companies innovating with blockchain technology.        

“Gross revenue increases don’t tell me anything other than they reflect that we’re bigger than we were last year,” managing partner Ben Mathis Jr. said.        

“Commercial real estate residential housing is a huge business, and these people know they are having these problems,” said Michael Haggard, the managing partner at the Haggard Law Firm.        

Prosecutors asked that Ryan Salame receive a sentence of five to seven years, while defense counsel from Mayer Brown argued that a lower sentence of 18 months would be appropriate.
