U.S. District Judge Thomas Durkin of the Northern District of Illinois, who last month ordered a $2 million contempt judgment against plaintiffs’ attorney Tom Girardi for failing to pay settlement funds over Boeing’s 2018 Max 8 aircraft crash, said he wants a hearing in person to decide the potential roles played by ex-Girardi Keese lawyers David Lira and Keith Griffin.
